PCL (Pleiger Control Loop)
PCL is a power AND data fieldbus system for controlling and monitoring EHS actuators, pumps, tank level sensors, etc. The PCL system significantly simplifies electrical installation.
The Pleiger Control Loop (PCL) is a combined power and data fieldbus system for efficient control and monitoring of system components. Installation is significantly simplified because a single cable is responsible for both power supply and data communication at the same time. Connecting all actuators and IO nodes via a simple cable loop reduces material requirements and cabling effort to a minimum.
A single cable is used for power supply and data communication. Connecting all actuators and IO nodes via a simple cable loop saves a lot of cable and cabling effort.

The PCL system is characterized by the following technical features:
Suitable for all types of EHS actuators
Provision of IO modules for tank gauging, pump control, etc.
Control of up to 250 nodes by a bus master
Each bus master provides up to 8 data loops and up to 8 power loops
Integrated local control panel for emergency operation and setup
Connection to the higher-level control system via redundant Modbus RTU
Separate bus master for SRTP solutions

In addition, the architecture is designed as a single fault-tolerant system to guarantee extremely high reliability:
Even in the event of an interruption or short circuit of data or power lines, a maximum of two nodes are affected by a fault
All occurring faults are displayed immediately and located precisely
Redundant bus masters operate continuously in hot-standby mode
