Metal foundry
Metal foundry for light and non-ferrous metals
Non-ferrous and light metal casting according to individual requirements — focuses on customized solutions.

In industrial operations, the use of non-ferrous metals is virtually inexhaustible. However, the production of cast parts is a highly complex process. Every product must meet specific requirements for diverse areas of application. Consequently, each product also places special demands on the manufacturing and finishing process as well as on the selection of materials. Our high sand compaction, along with the optional use of state-of-the-art refractory coatings, enables highly precise molds with excellent surface quality.

At Pleiger, you obtain high-quality light metal and non-ferrous metal castings for almost all areas of application – as sand castings. We manufacture cast parts made of non-ferrous metal weighing from 50 g to 1,250 kg. With our optimized processes, in-house pattern making, and machining, small and medium-sized series in particular can be produced economically. Contact us and we will be pleased to advise you comprehensively to find a customized solution for your challenge.

We cast all common alloys for our customers, regardless of whether the desired increase in strength is to be achieved solely through alloying elements and work hardening or primarily through age-hardening (heat treatment). Special alloys are available upon request; a table with standard alloys can be found below!
